This is a song of lament and hope about colonisation and wondering what it means to be Christian in Australia. Lyrcis by me and music by David MacGregor. It is suitable for use around 26 January or Sorry Day or Reconciliation Week. The beat is inspired by Goanna’s “Solid Rock” and the vibe by Midnight Oil. Please don’t make the song upbeat – it is a song of lament and a solemn desire for change. It is not an anthem.
